Long long post...

At Incheon International Airport...and it's already day 2

Day2: 1st station: Everland theme park!!!

Even before it opens, there were long queues of students and tours waiting to go into the theme park..I was damn shock cuz it was still quite early lyk 10am or so..the students dun need to go school study de, they have teachers who bring them to the theme park!! so shiok! Everland: "Animal tour"

See the bear bear begging for food, and the driver will throw small little biscuit for it as reward!See..the bear can stand on its legs..haha..so cute!

Spring season: Beautiful flowers...............

Day2: This is Jeju Island: Yongduam Dragon Rock..It is said that after a volcano erupt, the stones form the Jeju land and the rock resembles a dragon soaring up...It's a natural rock formation..

Day3: Seongsan Sunrise Peak...Early in the morning, the two of us manage to climb up to the top of the mountain! haha..Proud of ourself..we nearly gave up...lolz

Day3: This is the Seongup Folk Village..Heard from the tour guide that Da Chang Jin was filmed at the traditional house there..

You must be thinking that this big bear is very heard right..but actually when we held it, it's quite soft..lyk normal teddy bears..

Day4: Chuncheon Nami Island - where Winter Sonata is filmed

The bark of these trees are soft..not like those normal ones that we usually see in Singapore..

We love the tree!

The place is super big, so we decided to rent a bike and share it with this couple in the same tour as us..we thought it will be much easier with the bike...but...end up we got even more tired cuz the bike is quite difficult to ride! haha

Day4: Chuncheon myongdong shopping street

Day 4 night: One of Korea's chalet room..dunno is our imagination or wat..the corridor is one whole stretch straight rows of rooms..there is no way anyone can hide in any corner except going into their own room..our room door bell suddenly rang, but when my gf open the door, there was no one at all..one whole stretch of corridor was empty................

Day5: Mount Sorak National Park

Day5: We went to Yongpyong and this is the resort we stayed..went sauna and water activites place at yong pyong in the noon..look at the temperature at nite..the place we are staying is only 2.7 degrees celsius..our tour guide said tt on tt very nite, it snowed high up on the mountain...

And so..the next morning (day6)..we went to take cable car all the way up to the mountain!

It's real snow leh..not man-made!!!super cold there..we din wear enuf and we din wear socks..5 or 10 mins after we were there, our hands and feets are frozen numb..no feeling at all..

Day6: At the Korean traditional Center, we got to eat this raw ginseng...haha

The kimchi i made..everyone was laughing at my kimchi..but i tink i wrap until very nice lei...

Day 6: At the dongdaemun shopping street, we happen to catch this parade..it's sth lyk singapore's chingay..but this parade is to celebrate the arrival of the koreans buddha..

Day7: This is where the Korea President stays..it's called Qing Wa Tai..

Though it's very cold, but eating ice cream there at tt time is super shiok! haha..

Day 7: Lotte World

Mr.Smile..got him this name got everyday everytime he is smiling..and everytime he smile is very fixed de..lips smile until very wide then the eyes small small..haha..very cute..and very helpful..he always make sure that everyone have enuf to eat and always help us with out luggage! Anyway..his real job is a photographer..

Tour grp of 16 people..very fun, very punctual and very nice pple..

We still went to alot of places during the trip but some places we din take photos...

For example, the mysterious road..we were brought to a place and by looking at the road, everyone saw an uphill road..we were in the tour bus and the engine was switched off at a certain point and the bus started to move on it's own..the road in actual fact is a downhill slope but no matter how we look at it, it is an uphill slope! so juan ride the bicycle up the slope, but to us, when we look at her..she is riding down the hill..and when she u-turn back, we see tt she is going up the slope but the bicycle move freely even without her peddling..so amazing..i wanted to take photo of the road..but kind of stupid cuz the slope wasnt very very obvious kind..so no point taking picture..haha

We went to the ginseng showroom in Seoul oso..and we bought some ginseng back to singapore to try out..bought amethyst gemstone from the amethyst factory for my mum as mother's day present..

The food there were quite bland..the soup and food is not very salty or sweet..the steamboat and bbq that we ate were mostly vege vege and vege..sometimes hafe toufus..and the all time present items are kimchi, seaweed, and raw vegetable lyk those korean series shows when they wrap with the meat to eat..i can say they eat very healthy food in fact..mostly veges..even for their meat, a little bit overcooked when we bbq, the person who help us will immediately throw away and tell us cannot eat..a little fats oso must remove if not cannot eat..haha..

As for the people there, i feel that they are quite rowdy..they dun say excuse me or apologise when they knock into pple, they just push and shove their way through..at the everland theme park, there were a few kids queueing behind us to take the cable car up the hill..they were lyk standing so close to us that we feel tt they are leaning on us..felt so uneasy but dunno how to say them cuz i dunno how to speak their language..all we could do is stare at them and tsk them only..

Overall..i had a great time there..if next time there's chance, i'll probably go again..hehe..mayb at a different season then..
