Post title : Long lOng update
♥ You'll never know the real me.
It has been like ages since i've updated and dear miss xiaoqing has been nagging me to be more diligent. :p
As for now, I'm serving my stupid internship and currently just started third week of work. Seems fast to me although work is tough and stressful. I remembered I started work not too long ago and now is the third week. There's 2 reflection waiting for me and an e-journal waiting for submission by today (wed).
My attachment company is DMK - selling ladies' shoes. Working at plaza sing now and dunno when will be transferred to other cuckoo area..lolz. Colleagues there are nice, some I knew them before cuz I worked there before. Think was like 3 yrs ago. Seriously, I guess Singaporeans and even foreigners' buying beahaviour has changed drastically. It wasn't as easy as we study in books where there are all the watever steps and whatever theory. Somehow, I feel that those theory and whatever steps dont really work well. Mayb i'm lousy, I dont know. But doing slaes now is not as easy as 3 years ago. my colleagues were saying mayb everything has increased in price like the oil, chicken, pork or whatever ingredient that caused people to want to save more and spend less on less important or excess things like shoes or clothes. It is so damn difficult to get the people to buy just 1 pair of shoes! Whatever sweet things or compliments I've made to the shoe and people, they just wont buy and I see lesser and lesser nice customers who dont try for fun. Now, there are definitely more and more people trying shoes for fun. I mean of course they have the right to try shoes, but some is like trying 8-10 pair of shoes and end up saying 'thank you' and walk out of the store. Some people I simply cant understand. They try 1 design of all the colors (usually three), each color of 2 sizes, and when I ask them is the size okie? they say yah. And I ask this shoe you wear is very comfortable right, a lot of customers say is comfortable also. And they say yah. And when i say the shoe suits them, they reply I also think is quite nice. But end up, after looknig at the mirror for another second, they say 'i'll think about it. thank you'. So what's wrong with this transaction, I simply dont understand.
Time does past quite fast when working. But sometimes when I dont get to sell any shoes for a few hrs while my colleagues are happily closing their transaction, I feel so stressed up, discouraged and demoralised. i just dont understand what is wrong. Mayb my luck is not good enough? Cause we take turns to serve the customers and somehow whenever is my turn, the customers wont buy. Of course there are times when their customers wont buy but it happens more to me. Sales result definitely will more or less show how good am i. When at the end of the intership, the manager cant possibly give me very high marks for my performance if my sales result is damn lousy, cause the two just dont match.
Well, shall stop nagging about my internship. Shift the attention to something else. Haha.
Celebrated XiaoQing's birthday on 19th Sept, one day before her actual birthday. It's a coincidence that I had that day off, so can go shopping all that. Went to meet up with Qing at suntec first then went to Raffles city Cafe Cartel to celebrate her birthday + catching up. Had a little celebration with the gals and dear and zhen wei + wei quan. Sing song, photo taking, give present, chit chat. That's bout it for tt night. Stay till 12 plus am which is her actual birthday date already, so somehow still manage to celebrate for her on the day itself. Haha. Though met up for a short while, but really hope she has enjoyed herself and so did everyone else. :)
And as for today. Had my off day again and went to have a hair cut. Met Joanna at 'Build a Bear' and Besley at Plaza Sing Atrium. Went for a small little shopping with Joanna and head off to meet Han for gelare. Haha. I am still having cough and flu now but I dont care. I just want to eat. Half price some more! Yummy Yummy. Oh, and dear Han treated me partially for the Waffle ice cream cuz her training end late and I waited for her for lyk 2 hrs? lolz. She felt very bad and say wanted to treat me. But I let her pay partially only. Lolz. Actually din want to blog today but something interesting happen. We were eating waffle ice cream and chatting at the same time and I was looking around to see what other things I can eat. Cuz i cant simply have waffle ice cream as my dinner which is my oni meal for the day. And, as I look around, i happen to saw the couple sitting beside our table smooching. For couple is quite normal but that couple is actually lesbians. So I was like staring at two girls smooching each other and they were like 2o+ working adults. It is so embarrassing lor. They dont feel embarrass but I feel so paiseh that I saw them smooch. Hinted Han to look also. Lolx. She din notice it at first but still manage to see what I saw. her expression was like normal but hen she look again then she felt weird cause then she notice both of them are girls. Annd she wa looking at them smooching for quite awhile. Like captured by the seen of them smooching. Haha. Had to call her to get her attention back. But really, that is the first time I see age 20+ lesbians kissing and they were so engrossed in kissing each other. My eyes nearly popped out! lolz.
Okie. Too long din update. Abit too long le this post. Haha. shall go do my reflections and my e-journal.
